As a formed engineer, my principal interest in research is the study of the electrical activity and its propagation across every system, including the brain. From the electrophysiological recording acquired inside the neuron, to the electroencephalography, we have the technology to register every kind of dynamics. Nevertheless, the inconvenience of all this data falls in its lecture and interpretation. I am convinced that we already have enough information to explain many of the actual main questions in neuroscience, but we do not know how to read that information. That is the reason of my actual research, focused on the hippocampal rhythms and their interaction, phenomena’s that have been related to functions such as selective attention, decision making, object recognition and information transmission and storage. Expanding the data analysis work in every lab will enhance the significance of the results and could also avoid many experiments.
